IDA 2026 will take place in the historic city of Leiden (The Netherlands). The conference venue is the Academic Building of Leiden University, with plenary sessions held in the Telders Auditorium. The Academic Building is one of Leiden University’s most iconic locations, situated in the heart of the city near the Rapenburg canal.

Leiden, with a population of about 130,000, is a vibrant university town known for its historic center, charming canals, and museums. The city is easily reached by train, less than 30 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, making it a very accessible location.
